Above and Beyond Learning Partners Launches SPED Teacher Training Program

In pursuit of its vision of “a world where individuals with special needs, their families and others, interact with one another happily and fruitfully, by providing inspiration through education resulting in innovative improvements in the quality of living of these special individuals towards making them valuable members of their community”, Above and Beyond (AAB) Learning Partners launched its SPED Teacher Training Program aimed at benefitting any and all teachers who have chosen special education as their field of expertise.

Teacher Francis, AAB’s specialist in Special Education Teaching, is highly experienced in case managing/program leading, program development, parent/caregiver training and teaching of Individualized Educational Programs ranging from Early Intervention, Pre-Adolescent/ Adolescent Program as well as Internship, Transition Program and Job/Life Coach Program. He has undergone training abroad in Sensory Motor Feeding and Oral Placement Therapy.

Recently, Teacher Francis conducted “Understanding a Child’s Behavior and Sensory Needs” as part of a series directed at identifying and addressing difficulties encountered in a school setting. First to avail of such training were pre-school, grade school, and high school teachers of the SPED Departments of Marymount Academy in BF Homes Parañaque City.
